Find one of your favorite homemade BBQ sauce recipes to add to this delicious sandwich envisioned by Martha Stewart. Although her recipe calls for bottled barbecue sauce, we think homemade always makes things better. To make Martha’s Barbecued Chicken on Garlic Toast, you will need rotisserie chicken and your favorite sandwich bread.
1. Cook chicken and barbecue sauce together in a medium pan for eight minutes.
2. Mix garlic, butter, salt and pepper and then slather the mixture onto both pieces of your sandwich bread.
3. On a baking sheet, broil sandwich bread for one minute or until it turns golden brown.
4. Place chicken between slices of bread, get a napkin ready and enjoy!
If you do end up making this sandwich with bottled BBQ sauce, Martha recommends that you choose a brand with no preservatives.
