Homemade Smokey, Spicy Sweet BBQ Sauce Recipe

Are you really going to stop at the store on the way home and pick up a bottle of BBQ sauce that is filled with all it’s preservatives and chemicals. Or you can pay the big bucks and buy a bottle of organic sauce that you will grow tired of before you get to the bottom.  What you will end up with is a fridge full of BBQ bottles and you have forgotten which ones you like.

Then when you go to buy your favorite you won’t ever find it again.  If that sounds familiar then it is time to start making your own.  Here is a good one to get started with

You will need the following:
    1 Bottle of Ketchup/Catsup
    4 Cloves of Garlic
    2 Tablespoons of Onion powder
    2 Tablespoons of Molasses
    2 Tablespoons of Honey
    2 Cups of Brown Sugar
    2 Tablespoons of Red Pepper Flakes (optional or more for a big kick)
    4 Tablespoons of Paprika
    2 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
    1 teaspoon salt

Try every recipe that looks good to you and then add small variations to the recipe to suit your taste.  Soon you will have an organic, homemade one of your own!
